EVERY JOURNEY BEGINS SOMEWHERE.

Every journey begins with an idea. Mine was inspired by two forces that have shaped the way I see the world-the giant waves of Nazaré and the philosophy behind Bitcoin.

I've always been fascinated by Nazaré. Watching the world's biggest waves taught me that nature cannot be controlled. It demands respect, patience and the courage to commit when the moment arrives.

Around the same time, I discovered Bitcoin. What captivated me wasn't simply its price, but the technology behind it and the principles it represent-decentralization, scarcity, ownership and long-term thinking.

The more I reflected on both worlds, the more I realised they shared the same values.

Neither asks for permission.

Neither can be controlled.

Both reward patience, preparation and the willingness to think independently.

That realisation became WaveHODL.

Living in Portugal, I realised I had the opportunity to create something I had never experienced before: a lifestyle brand inspired by the ocean, shaped by craftsmanship and guided by a philosophy that goes far beyond fashion. A brand where every product carries a story, every collection has a purpose and every journey begins with curiosity.

My mission is simple: to create products that people form a genuine connection with. Pieces that accompany life's journeys, inspire curiosity and quietly reflect the values of freedom, exploration and long-term thinking-not because of a logo, but because of the stories they come to represent.

My vision is for WaveHODL to become a globally recognised lifestyle brand inspired by the ocean, shaped by innovation and built on the principles of freedom, craftsmanship and long-term thinking.

Today, WaveHODL is taking its first steps-online and through our temporary studio in Nazaré, where visitors can experience some of the collections in person. This is only the beginning.

My hope is to see WaveHODL grow beyond the digital world, with welcoming spaces in places where the ocean, travel and freedom naturally come together.

WaveHODL is my way of sharing the two worlds that have inspired me most. If these products encourage someone to explore a little further, think a little differently, or simply appreciate the journey a little more, then they have already fulfilled their purpose.
